Tetiana Ordono

Tetiana Ordono is a dedicated piano teacher and proud U.S. veteran spouse originally from Ukraine, with more than 20 years of teaching experience.

Her musical journey began at the age of six, practicing on a neighbor's old, out-of-tune upright piano — an early fascination that led her to earn a Master's Degree from the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.

Tetiana began teaching at music schools in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 2002. Her outstanding contributions to Ukraine's capital cultural community earned her the Kyiv Mayor's Award twice.

In 2009 she became a piano entertainer for major cruise lines. After nearly a decade at sea, she resumed teaching in Virginia Beach, Albuquerque, and now San Diego, where she founded Sounds Good Inclusive Music School.

Originally from Ukraine, she earned her first degree from Vasyl Barvinsky Higher Music College in Drohobych and later graduated from the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.

During her career in Kyiv she taught at several schools — including the prestigious Kyiv Children's Academy of Arts — and worked alongside fellow educators to develop a music history curriculum still in use across Ukrainian arts schools today.

Many of Oksana's students have gone on to professional music careers at conservatories around the world. In 2023 she moved to the United States, teaching first in Atlanta and now in San Diego at East County Youth Symphony and the Ukrainian School of San Diego.
